Welcome to my news page
This is probably the best place to see what I've been up to recently since I'm terrible at updating my site.

November 2009:
I've been informed by the good people at Aesthetica Magazine that one of my prints has been selected for the Aesthetica Creative Works Annual which will be appearing in December. Out of 12000 submissions from 30 countries, they selected 40 images... and my print - "By the Rivers of Babylon" - was one of them. What can I say - Grab yourself a copy when it appears in December. To see my prints click here.

My friend Gabriele Zucchelli has told me that our documentary will have its first broadcast in Sweden on the 12th of December by the Swedish National Television Broadcaster SVT. So, check it out if you're in Sweden or Denmark in December.

October 2009:
I'm currently working on a very beautiful new film by artist Ursula Mayer. Visit the Frieze Art Fair in London to see it. I've been doing the online edit and the sound design.

August 2009:
This month I'm finishing off authoring the DVD for the documentary Quirino Cristiani: The Mystery of the First Animated Movies.
It's a documentary which Gabriele Zucchelli and I have been working on for the best part of 3 years. It's been a real labour of love. It contains many special features and subtitles in 6 languages.

I am also doing some work on a short-film by William Peschek. After having done the location sound recording for the film, I'm now compositing some effects shots. It's a new experience working with RED 4k footage - daunting and exciting.

April 2009:
I've helped artist Mayling To finish off her new video called Dear Tom. I did the on-line edit, colour correction and a bit of motion graphics.

March 2009:
Been working with Mairead McClean on her documentary For The Record. I did the on-line edit, final audio mix and colour correction.
It's a very personal documentary about her father who was a poltical prisoner in Northern Ireland. Always nice to work on projects which let some daylight into the murk of politics and power.

February 2009:
Just finished the epic final audio mix of Fall In Frame by artist Sarah Pucill. This is the second project we've worked on together. The sound in Sarah's films has a huge dynamic range - from total silence to very loud. This is a real challenge to mix and a big challenge for the people at the film lab who have to put it back onto film.
